South American Pathfinder camporee scraps early park entry in new official bulletin
The South American Division's Oct. 29, 2026 bulletin for its January 2027 camporee in Barretos, Brazil, cancels early access to the park and sets new rules for visitors and baptisms.

On Oct. 29, 2026, the South American Division's Pathfinder ministry published Official Bulletin No. 02/2026 for the VI South American Pathfinder Camporee at Parque do Peão in Barretos, São Paulo state, Brazil. The bulletin officially cancels the early park entry mentioned in the guidance manual, saying requests far exceeded what could be handled. Gates will open only at midnight on Jan. 5, 2027 (Alpha session) and Jan. 12 (Omega session). It also sets a one-day visitor "Day Pass" at R$185, bought through registered clubs from Dec. 3–10, and lets parents attend their children's baptism for up to two hours if they register with their local church field by Nov. 30. The division's guidance manual says organizers expect 120,000 Pathfinders, a projection rather than a registration or attendance figure.

What would firm this up: For turnout: attendance figures from the division, or independent reporting during the January 2027 event.
